Signals: For Real
* Germaine Kruip (‘Eye Trap’). Unique, one-off performance of a soundtrack specially composed not for a film, but for the view of the sunset from the Cruise Terminal.
* Sascha Pohle (‘Reframing the Artist’). Dialogues from more than 50 different films about artists (Pollock, Surviving Picasso etc.) are reenacted by craftsmen in the Dafen Oil Painting Village.
* Pilvi Takala (‘Among others’). Several monitors appear in semi-public spaces around the festival centre. Takala invites us to follow her game of trespassing and challenging social situations.
* Katarina Zdjelar & Maziar Afrassiati. (‘Soundtracking Rotterdam’). A soundwalk about how listening and sound can mediate the body's movement and behaviour in an architecturally defined environment.

Witte de With (Rotterdam): 'Celluloid Brushes'. Contemporary artists are invited to create new poster designs for biographical films; by now there are already more than 50 graphic reinterpretations.: ao James Beckett, Valérie Mannaerts, Jurgen Ots, Jimmy Robert, Robert Suermondt, Richard Venlet, Stephen Wilks
