In professionally-equipped workshops, residents work and experiment with traditional and contemporary materials and techniques. 

 

There are four clusters of technical workshops: 

image and sound:
photography, film, video, sound, electronics

graphics:
engraving, letterpress printing, lithography, silk-screen, artists’ publications

chemicals:
paint, plastics, ceramics and glass

construction:
metal, wood and precision mechanics

 

The technical workshops offer virtually all (relevant) possibilities for the production of contemporary art. Due to the interdisciplinary manner of working and the collaboration between the various workshops, requests by residents are often elaborated in a manner that transcends boundaries. The technical advisors collaborate with research institutes and companies.
