PRIXDEROME.NL
On June 2nd, rijksbouwmeester (government architect) Mels Crouwel opened the exhibition PRIXDEROME.NL 2006 Architectuur in Arcam Architectuurcentrum Amsterdam. The exhibition is open to the public until August 19, 2006. The four nominated architects: Daan Petri, Eva Pfannes, Bas Princen & Milica Topalovic and Ronald Rietveld present their vision on urban development in IJmuiden.
The presentations were judged during the exhibition. On June 22, Ronald Rietveld won the first prize €45.000. The second prize (€20.000) is awarded to Daan Petri. Both basic prizes of €10.000 each were awarded to Eva Pfannes and Bas Princen & Milica Topalovic.
