Apart from works that use the traditional painting techniques in art, there is a lot of attention for contemporary applications of synthetic resins, developing surface textures, conservation methods, industrial painting and coating systems. The workshop has a spray cabin where one can work dust-proof with these new techniques.

This workshop is equipped for the residents’ research and experiments, and fitted out in order to create sculptural objects. There are several ovens, including an oven in which life-size sculptures can be heated. There is also a large plaster room. In the field of warm glass – with the exception of glassblowing – all possibilities are available here.
