Artists' Documentation

The Artists' Documentation follows work and career of artists who work(ed) at the Rijksakademie (since the mid-eighties), including Prix de Rome winners. By now, there are some 700 files available. Photographs, slides, videos, cd-roms, publications, newspaper clippings, reviews of exhibitions and magazine articles show the international development in contemporary visual art. During their residency at the Rijksakademie, resident artists are given the possibility to document their work(process). During and after the work period they update the artists' documentation with information about exhibitions, projects and publications.

The documentation is open to anybody with a professional interest in the work and careers of artists of the Rijksakademie.
There are facilities for gathering more information on the Internet or view cd-roms, DVD's or videos.
