The Rijksakademie Artists’ Endowment Fund
(RAEF) is a manifestation of mutual, loyal support by artists for artists associated with the Rijksakademie: former residents and (former) advisors, winners and jurymembers of the Prix de Rome.
The Endowment is initiated by artists and from 2008 on developed by Janwillem Schrofer, president of the Rijksakademie between 1982 and 2010. Present and future generations of talented artists at the Rijksakademie will benefit from the ‘fruits’ of the Endowment with the support given to their research and production.
In addition to the state and patronage – the trust forms the third financial pillar of the Rijksakademie, a pillar whose importance will grow in the future.
Total artists’ donations
