Dan Zhu (RA 18/19) is one of the three winners of the Royal Prize for Modern Painting 2020. 406 artists (under 36 years of age) submitted photographs of their work, almost twice as many as in 2019. In addition to Dan Zhu, Charlott Weise and Janne Schipper also won the Royal Award, and with that, for the first time in the history of the prize, three women won.
