Week of Bequests to Culture
From 3 to 9 November, the 'Week van Nalaten aan Cultuur' (Week of Bequests to Culture) takes place – an informative and inspiring initiative supported by nearly a hundred cultural institutions across the Netherlands to highlight the possibilities of leaving a legacy to culture.
A legacy or bequest keeps your connection to the Rijksakademie alive. By remembering the Rijksakademie in your will, you help artists find the time and space to research, experiment, and deepen their practice – exactly what this place has made possible since 1870.

Tuesday 4 November we organise a special event with Royal Theatre Carré and Amsterdam Sinfonietta, where we explore the many ways in which you can contribute to art and culture and what it means to leave something behind to a place or institution that has been valuable to you.
