Support for an artist through a so-called Fellowship is a crucial building block in the artist’s residency at the Rijksakademie. The Fellowship of at least €16,500 for each of the 50 artists enables us to provide the artists with a financial base for living and working. These conditions are key to developing a successful artistic career.
Our Fellowship Circle consists of private donors (Trustees), national and international foundations and companies. Together they form a diverse and powerful network with a major impact on the international exchange and promotion of contemporary artists around the world.

Another possibility is supporting an artist with a Fellowship or one of our special programmes or activities directly.
